In pursuant to UGC’s regulation, a committee has been constituted to resolve the discriminating complaints received from SC/ST students, faculty and staff members of the Institute.

Objectives:

• To co-ordinate with the university authorities in the implementation of the various policies and programmes launched by the State Government and the UGC for the benefit of the SC/ST students and employees.
• To develop awareness among the SC/ST students about the government scholarships and fellowships
• To ensure the implementation of the rules of reservation in student's admission and appointments in teaching and non-teaching position
• To promote higher education among the SC/ST and weaker communities, who are economically and socially deprived, in the higher education institution.
