The Educationist has a Doctorate of Philosophy in Sustainable Tourism under his cap. His tourism experience goes back over a decade before becoming an academician in the year 2008 at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi. He was the in-charge for almost two years in the Dept. of Hotel Management, BIT Mesra, Ranchi.

His extensive navigation across a kaleidoscopic India to learn life’s lessons make him feel today that he has best job in world. A tiny hamlet in Chotanagpur “Ranchi” which is cushioned on all side by famous cities like Kolkata, Bodhgaya and Varanasi has influenced and inculcated in him, the nature and simplicity of Santhali and melody of Tagore.

He learned the knack of inbound tourism since 1997 onwards from Mercury Travels, Cox & Kings, Delhi, Liberty International Tourism Group, Gurugram & Prague, Tina Travels, Kuala Lumpur, ACME Tours & Travels, Delhi & Paris. He has represented some of the International Travel Marts, such as WTM, London, UK, ITB, Berlin, Germany, Top Resa, Paris, France, CITM, Beijing, China, SATTE, Delhi, TTM Ahmedabad, India etc.

A specialist in tour packaging, operations, marketing, tourism planning, entrepreneurship and alternative areas of tourism. He has good number of articles, research papers, book chapters to his name.

An editor of a book who takes pride in thought provoking deliberations in national and international seminars/workshops, conferences.

Other than these, his hobby is marathon running.
