Our lab focuses onto the development of different nanomaterials, phytobioactives and smart biomaterials for biomedical applications. We have optimized the fabrication of functionalized organic and inorganic nanomaterials for various applications including infection control, nano-theranostic and tissue engineering. In addition we also explore bioprospecting and phytobioactives for biotechnological and therapeutic applications. The lab focuses on developing new generation smart biomaterials including temperature responsive polymers, composites and ceramics functionalized with phytobioactives and nanomaterials for tissue engineering and regenerative medicines.
