I have enjoyed the journey of achievements in mathematics during my career. I finally ended up working for the Birla Institute of Technology. To me, young bodies always need the best possible chance if they are to thrive in a rapidly changing world. BIT identifies the importance of the impact its work has on diverse grounds including community engagement and outreach. It advances the development and optimization of impact by promoting its members to believe about the impact, both inside and outside academia, or their past, current and future mission, and giving support for those who wish to develop their achievements. I have enjoyed such achievements with my short career at BIT. Where such achievements for academic exploitation are evident today, BIT today is influencing my career portfolio and encouraging me to achieve my goals by building on existing cross-sector collaborations. I, therefore, will always look forward to continuing and contributing to BITinnovation and excellence strategy through a diverse partnership of the policy commitment construct that advanced research and development in modern sciences will seed.
In January 2004, I joined Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi in the Department of Mathematics. I was promoted to Senior Lecturer in September 2007, reader in March 2008, Associate Professor in April 2011 and Professor in March 2015. I was awarded BOYSCAST AWARD in the year 2004 from the Department of Science and technology, Govt. of India, for promoting research in Mathematics in overseas Institutes. Under the programme, I got the chance of working with Prof. Chuanxi Qian, Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Mississippi State University, MSState, USA. This changed my way of research in the field of Differential equations and Difference equations.
After I returned to India, I promoted my fundamental applied and numerical mathematics interest with an emphasis on its importance to Differential equations and Difference equations and other problem-driven research. Loosely speaking, am a scientist who started his career from BIT and who returned to work in BIT after learning some new research work in Differential equations and Difference equations in USA. Since then I have shown exceptional promise and ability as a scientist from the developing world. Further, to ensure that my research activities remain at the forefront of international research I broadly developed a portfolio of personal and joint research projects and collaborations with appropriate individuals both regionally and internationally. With my diverse multinational experience, am honored for my distinguished achievements and contributions through my professional development by holding various international fellowships in applied and computational mathematics, editorial board with a variety of international journals and international conferences.
Meanwhile I got chances of working with several many mathematicians. Some of them are (1) Prof. John. R. Graef, University of tennessee at Chattanooha, Chattanooga, USA, (2) Prof. Chuanxi Qian, Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Mississippi State University, MSState, USA. (3) Prof. Julio G. Dix, Texas State University at San Marcos, San Marcos, Texas (4) Prof. jaffar Ali Shahul hameed, Florida Gulf Coast University, Fort Myres, Florida, USA.. (5) Alexander Domoshnitsky, Ariel University, Israel.
