Aim:The aim was to design and develop a bed in which surface pressure of different parts will change automatically after a predetermined time. This was done by inflation and deflation action at different pressure by air supply unit (Compressor/  Vacuum pumps) whose motors are controlled through a programmable microcontroller. The segment or cell wise pressure was changed through microcontrollers in this innovative technology.
