Computer Science Department at BIT Mesra off Campus Noida campus endeavours to be an important regional, national, and international resource centre for the development of computing, IT systems and applications. The Department is recognized as one of the leading departments with infrastructure and facilities to match the very best in the country. The department remains committed towards its mission, which is twofold. One is to provide students with the fundamental knowledge and problem solving skills in Computer Science required for a fulfilling career. The other goal is to create and disseminate knowledge to improve Computer Science research, education and practice.

Programmes Offered

Department of Computer Science and Engineering offers Under Graduate(UG), Post Graduate & Doctoral programme  with the curriculum specifically designed to reflect the depth and breadth of latest technologies, research and innovations in computer science.

Undergraduate Programme

The Undergraduate Programme offered by the Department is:

BCA Honours (4 years: 8-semesters) with specialization in “Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning” and “Data Science”

BCA. (3 years: 6-semesters) with specialization in “Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning” and “Data Science”
 

Postgraduate Programme

The Masters programme offered by the Department are:

Master of Computer Applications (2 years: 4-semesters)

Doctoral Programme

The department provides extensive computing resources for research and education. In order to build the intellectual capital of researchers & technocrats, the department also runs Doctoral programme in Computer Science.
