Special Round of Admissions - B.Arch. program BIT Mesra


Introduction and Eligibility Criteria

Applications are invited from the prospective candidates for admission to following programs at respective campuses(please refer Table 1) against few vacant seats in Home State / All India pool for the Academic Session 2023-24.

B.Arch.

CANDIDATES MUST SATISFY THE FOLLOWING ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  1. Candidate must have passed in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII), or its equivalent, referred to as the qualifying examination with minimum 60%.

  2. For B.Arch. program, the candidate must have CRL Rank in B.Arch. Paper.
  3. Economically Weaker Section (GEN-EWS): As per the Govt. of India norms. Applicants will be required to provide the GEN-EWS certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format on the basis of last financial year 2022-23. A certificate should have been issued on or after 1st April 2023. 
  4. Candidate should fulfil all other eligibility criteria as per JoSAA /CSAB Business Rules 2023.

NOTES:

  • In case any Board awards grades instead of marks, the calculation of equivalent percentage of marks would be as based on the procedure prescribed by the Board or in case, the Board does not prescribe any procedure, it will be GPA x 10.
  • Candidate must have adequate proficiency in written & spoken English to cope with the program as all instruction and examinations will be in English only.
  • At any level of the studies [Class X or Class XII], a candidate / applicant must have passed all the required subjects at that level from the same Board.

Fresh Applicants- Application Process

How to Apply:  

  • To fill online application form, click on the link “APPLY ONLINE” to register for the program and create password for the application process. Do not share the password with anybody.  
  • Eligible candidates must complete and submit the application form online only.

Fresh Applicant-

  • Pay application fee of Rs.1,500/- (General / EWS candidates) and Rs.1,000/- (SC/ST candidates) through Online Payment Gateway (candidates may use net banking / debit card / credit card) till the last date of application process. 

Important Instructions:

  1. Please fill and submit the application form online only, take printout of the same and retain with you.
  2. Upload marksheets of Class 10, Class 12, Caste Certificate and Score card of JEE-Main / NATA Score.
